What is Hallbart Universitet?

Hållbart Universitet or HU, is a politically and religiously independent non-profit organization. Its overall purpose is to strengthen and coordinate the student engagement in environmental issues and sustainability at Lund University.
We are an umbrella organizations of many sustainability-related projects in and around Lund. Check out the busy bees here: Working Groups

What do we do?

1. We support our working groups on their sustainability missions by helping them reach a wider audience and network with other working groups. We also provide them with and help them apply for funding for their projects.
   
2. We throw our own events! Each semester we aim to throw one social event and one academic event to bring together and facilitate the networking and discussion on sustainability in Lund. On top of that, HU facilitates a yearly clothing swap event to help fight against fast fashion.
   
3. We publish our own newsletter several times a year, informing students about various sustainability related topics around Lund.
